Dr. Paquin est pédiatre urgentologue au CHU Sainte-Justine depuis 2017. Il a complété sa formation en pédiatrie générale à l’Hôpital de Montréal pour Enfants (McGill) et sa sur-spécialité en médecine d’urgence pédiatrique au CHU Sainte-Justine (UdeM). Il a aussi complété une formation complémentaire en médecine sportive pédiatrique au Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard), avec un focus sur la commotion cérébrale. Depuis son retour, il fait maintenant ainsi partie de l’équipe de traumatologie en tant que médecin à la clinique de traumas crâniens cérébraux (TCC), et fait également une clinique de médecine sportive pour nos jeunes athlètes. Ses intérêts de recherche sont variés et portent sur les traitements des patients avec anémie falciforme à l’urgence ainsi que sur les commotions cérébrales et la médecine sportive.

Dr. Paquin is a pediatric emergency medicine physician at CHU Ste-Justine since 2017. He completed his general pediatrics training at the Montreal Children’s Hospital (McGill) and his subspecialty training in pediatric emergency medicine at CHU Ste-Justine (UdeM). He also completed a fellowship in pediatric sports medicine at the Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard) where he focused his work on concussion. Since his return, he is now part of the traumatology team as a physician in the concussion clinic, and also runs a sports medicine clinic for young athletes. His research interests are varied and focus on the treatment of patients with sickle cell disease in the emergency department, as well as on concussion and sports medicine.
